Yardage (I used the Stanwood Yardage Meter to measure the yardage.)

 

🌸8 ply cotton Mini Cake - Fingering weight (#1)

Yardage: Approximately 750-800 yards ( 1 gram = 5.35 yards) 

Unit Weight: approximately 5-6 oz / 150-170 grams

Recommended  Needle/Hook Size: 3-5 mm 

🌸8 ply Cotton Regular Cake - Fingering weight ( #1 )

Yardage: Approximately 1,400 yards  ( 1 gram = 5.35 yards) 

Unit Weight: approximately 9.5-10.5 oz / 270- 300 grams

Recommended  Needle/Hook Size: 3-5 mm 

 

🌸12 ply Cotton Regular Cake - Sport weight ( #2 )

Yardage: Approximately 1,200 yards  ( 1 gram = 3.42 yards) 

Unit Weight: approximately 11-12 oz / 280- 300 grams

Recommended  Needle/Hook Size: 3.5-5.5 mm
