Yardage (I used the Stanwood Yardage Meter to measure the yardage.)

 

8 ply cotton Mini Cake - Fingering weight (#1)

Yardage: Approximately 750-800 yards ( 1 gram = 5.35 yards) 

Unit Weight: approximately 5-6 oz / 150-170 grams grams

Recommended  Needle/Hook Size: 3-5 mm 


8 ply Cotton Regular Cake - Light Fingering weight ( #1 )

Yardage: Approximately 1,400 yards  ( 1 gram = 5.35 yards) 

Unit Weight: approximately 9.5-10.5 oz / 270- 300 grams

Recommended  Needle/Hook Size: 3-5 mm
