The 2026 “New Bloom” Birth Flower Series Collection

The 2026 “New Bloom” Birth Flower Series Collection

Hello crafty friends!

Spring is almost here, and we are celebrating with a complete refresh! Remember the 12 birth flower cakes we had in 2025? We are now bringing a re-envisioned edition this year! We are thrilled to present the 2026 New Bloom series to you.

Just a side note, though: as we make room for these new blossoms, our 2025 Birth Flowers series will be retired and not be restocked. That makes our birth flower collections even more special, as we allow them to bloom in their own season. No worries, Rena made sure you’ll adore the new colors as much as you did those we had last year.

Read the meanings behind each reimagined bloom and let us know your favorites!

January

Pink Carnation

Ruffled with dainty petals, pink carnations are symbols of remembrance. The delicate pink pigments from this colorway reflect this flower’s meaning of adoration and maternal love.  This is perfect for creating pieces that convey warmth, gratitude, and admiration.

February

Bearded Iris

Bearded Iris prides itself as a cultural, royal, and noble emblem. It has been a status symbol for centuries, especially in ancient Egypt. Our colorway for this birth flower underscores the same charisma and even more: power, wisdom, and grace.

March

Daffodil

Daffodils are seen as happy flowers, because they are often gifted to loved ones to make their day brighter. They are also among the early bloomers after winter, earning their meaning of rebirth, energy, and vitality. The way they unapologetically grow and glow also makes them a symbol of creativity and resilience. We aim to embody such qualities in our Daffodil Birth Flower colorway, so that the pieces that you create will also carry the same energy and warmth.

April

Pink Daisy

If you want to express love, admiration, and deep appreciation, you can never go wrong with showing it through our April Birth Flower colorway inspired by pink daisies.  The fusion of soft green and pink in this yarn is an intricate nudge to the feminine touch of real pink daisies to exude the same vibe and expression.

May

Lily of the Valley

Considered as Finland's national flower, the lily of the valley symbolizes joy, sincerity, and happiness. The colorway inspired by this birth flower is perfect for May projects. It’s like commemorating France’s tradition of gifting a loved one with lilies of the valley on the first day of May. But more than that, this birth flower also marks its history in the Bible, as it’s more often mentioned in the Song of Songs.  But the lilies of the valley have an even more interesting lore.  Though not really biblically-founded, many believe that they first bloomed after Eve shed her tears before leaving the Garden of Eden.

June

Roses

June - Roses, Gradient Cotton Natural Fiber Yarn - Rena'sThreadandCrafts

For a hopeful romantic, roses are at the top of their mind when they want to give or receive flowers from someone they admire. We created this colorway with the same goal in mind: to make every crafter fall in love with creating. And by the way, we deliberately chose the variety of colors for this cake. First off, purple is one of the rarest colors for a rose, which symbolizes love at first sight.  The sunny yellow exudes happiness. Orange reflects enthusiasm and encouragement. Pink has a way of showing gratitude and admiration. And lastly, white and peach are for grace and purity.

July

Pink Lotus

July is tinged with our bright Pink Lotus colorway, with its beauty that speaks straight to the heart. It carries enlightenment, purity, and spiritual awakening, making every yarn craft project crowned with the Divine.

August

Gladiolus

Embellish your August with strength, victory, and integrity with our Gladiolus colorway. This yarn cake might appear soft and delicate, but it whispers strength, gentle confidence, and the strong presence of maternal love.

September

Aster

Inspired from the daintiness of aster flowers, our September colorway makes way for elegance to blossom. Blooming during the late summer, aster tells us that it’s not too late to find your way to flourish for all the earth to see. Using this colorway will remind you of the value of patience and the beauty it can bring when you wait for the right moment to thrive.

October

Cosmos

Bring harmony to your soul as you create with our Cosmos Birth Flower colorway. Cosmos reflects the perfect peace and order of the universe because of the symmetrical nature of its petals. May it also be unto your soul and creations as you look and work with this cake.

November

Chrysanthemum

If you want to embody longevity, devotion, and rebirth, create or wear pieces made from our November Birth Flower colorway inspired by the chrysanthemum. The gradient of maroon and orange in this cake are great for November projects that radiate grace, love, and warmth.

December

Narcissus

Positive energy is manifested through our December Birth Flower colorway as it carries the beauty and sophistication of narcissus. With each stitch of this cake, you bring a sense of hope and renewal to your handmade pieces.

That’s about it.

I know. We are as excited as you for our 2026 garden, officially blooming on March 20, 2026.

Which of this year’s birth flower colorways resonate to you the most?
